Our Mission

My Power People LLC was created by a team of women who have worked together for years on social justice issues at both the legislative and community levels. We take our experience as advocates, coaches, trainers, campaign leaders, and friends to help others build power for the causes that matter most. Our consultation services combine the best of advocacy and organizing techniques. We help clients figure out how to get what they want from those with the power to give it to them!

The key to our success is our small core group of long-term employees to manage business development, operations, and client relations as well as a diverse bunch of subcontractors to draw upon for specialized tasks or large projects. 

Our top three priority areas of growth include (1) the packaging and marketing of our Power Prism® training and technical assistance; (2) strategic planning and assessment; and (3) research into Pathways of Influence (political power-mapping) and Community Pathways to Health Equity.
