Katrin Wynns

Katrin was employed in the real estate development and advisory industry in New England and NYC for over ten years prior to moving to Japan to teach English.  Her experience in Tokyo along with her extensive travel while in Asia prompted her to redirect her career and focus on issues related to social justice and equity upon her return.

In 2010, she began subcontracting for M+R Strategic Services, working to help a variety of organizations advance their mission objectives primarily through organizational and campaign advocacy support, research, and fundraising. For the last several years, she has been focused on research-based products; Pathways to Health Equity reports which highlight social justice and equity issues in cities or regions and provides the client with groundwork that can be used as a foundation for policy advocacy especially as it relates to health; and Pathways of Influence reports on lawmakers and prominent public figures designed to help develop, and increase the effectiveness of, the client’s campaign strategy.

As a consultant for MPP, she is excited to be part of a team of dedicated, passionate professionals and continue her work to highlight issues that, when addressed, can lead to more equitable communities.
