Cassandra Cumberlander

Cassandra Consulting LLC Cassandra is a nonprofit and technology consultant in the Greater Boston area. A long-time civic champion, she has dedicated much of her career to providing strategic leadership in program & policy development, project management, and meaningful engagement in African-American communities, emphasizing health and wellness through the lens of interagency collaboration. In the tech sphere, Cassandra utilizes technology to enhance direct service provision and offer high quality user experiences. As a founding member of CPLAN (Collaborative Parent Leadership Action Network), Cassandra advocates for educational equity and economic mobility across all sectors in the Commonwealth. She has worked with the Boston Public Health Commission, Martha Eliot Health Center, Whittier Street Health Center, The Children’s Trust, and Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. She is an active member at Morning Star Baptist Church in Mattapan. Cassandra is a Trustee of the Neighborhood House Charter School and serves on the board of Boston Explorers, an innovative day camp for youth, and on the Family Leadership Committee of The American Board of Pediatrics. Cassandra is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Newton METCO program. 

She lives in Boston with her daughter, an HBCU college freshman, and her son, a 10th grader. When not parenting, working, or volunteering, you will find Cassandra singing her heart out, trying to maintain her fitness schedule, reading a good book, or traveling somewhere warm.
